How has technology changed the way people prepare for and/or celebrate the holidays? Give one example?12/18/09
One technology changed the way people prepare or celebrate for the holidays because now people can do video chats on their computer if they live far away and still enjoy see your family if their not actually their in person . and people celelbrate with watch movies and sing Christmas corals on a karaoke machine .

Well, there I was Saturday at BestBuy, colliding with technology. My wife and I had decided to get a satellite radio for Christmas. Looked easy enough. We’d been in there once before, looking at several racks of “satellite ready” radios. Seemed all we needed to do was pick one out and go.
12/17/09Do you ever get frustrated with technology? Why?

How do you think technology effects societies values? 12/16/09 M.I.U
Mass media plays a crucial role in forming and reflecting public opinion, connecting the world to individuals and reproducing the self-image of society. Critiques in the early-to-mid twentieth century suggested that media weaken or delimit the individual's capacity to act autonomously — sometimes being ascribed an influence reminiscent of the telescreens of the dystopian novel 1984. Mid 20th-century empirical studies, however, suggested more moderate effects of the media.

Do you think that technology has changed society? Give one example.12/15/09
I believe the benefits provided by social network sites such as Facebook have made us better off as a society and as individuals, and that, as they continue to be adopted by more diverse populations, we will see an increase in their utility. Anecdotal evidence of positive outcomes from these technologies — such as political activities organized via Facebook or jobs found through LinkedIn — is well-known, but now a growing corpus of academic research on social networks sites supports this view as well.

Look at the images of the Wave Chaise above. Would you like to have a one? Why or why not?12/07/09
No I would not want to have one. The reason why I wouldn't want one is because I don't know how much technology is running through that bed while I'm sleep. I and I don't know if it would blow up while I'm sleep, and plus it looks uncomfortable.

What do you think is the difference between an animation or build and a transitions in a presentation project? How do you think they are similar?12/02/09
The actual transitions implementation is not the whole work, there was much more work to make it behave nicely inside of OOo. Shane wrote the whole transitional framework, Thorsten made all the necessary changes in sd and slideshow modules to make it happen, I was updating canvas backends to get slides content. Most probably more things I forgot.
